Overview of gas detection hazards and awareness that follows the OSHA guidelines of confined space entry and atmospheric monitoring devices to aid in health and safety prevention. The course will focus on confined space in general industry to ensure workers are best prepared to protect against the atmospheric variables that exist when working in a variety of industries. That discussion will include an overview of the following hazards/precautions: combustible gases, oxygen deficiency/enrichment, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide exposures and equipment that can assist with life preservation. MSA has built safety products for 100+ years–we will discuss and demonstrate these safety devices during the course
