Brad graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Environmental Health and a M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho. He has over 30 + years of experience in the environmental area; with the last 29 as the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Drinking Water Coordinator.
Brad is a licensed drinking water operator and a licensed backflow assembly tester. He has taught drinking water sampling courses and cross connection overview courses for the State of Idaho, City of Idaho Falls, INL, American Water Works Association (AWWA) Intermountain Section, Idaho Rural Water Association, and the University of Idaho. Also, Brad was appointed July 17, 2013 by Governor Butch Otter to the State of Idaho Board of Drinking Water and Waste Water Professionals.
Brad also started a water business (Water Boy, LLC.) in 2000 and now has 40 water systems that he is their license drinking water operator. In Brad’s spare time he has been active in his community (City of Iona) where he has served on the city council for eight years and 12 years as Mayor. In addition to the above, Brad has done many presentations and publications on drinking water. He is a member of AWWA (past chair, 2005-2006) and was appointed to the Board of Directors for Idaho Rural Water in 2012.
Brad has been married to his wife Dana for 36 years. They have four daughters and five grandchildren. Brad enjoys the outdoors; especially fishing, golfing, traveling, and people he comes in contact with through serving in the above mention organizations.
