Mr. Robinson Vasquez is an experienced bilingual roadway construction safety trainer and business manager, with responsibilities for a variety of contracts and liaison with the Hispanic Community. Prior to joining ARTBA, he served as an attorney, specializing in construction law and labor relations in his native Peru. Mr. Vasquez graduated cum laude from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru where he earned his law degree. He holds a master’s degree in comparative law from Brigham Young University and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Utah, in which he specialized in Safety and Productivity.
Mr. Vasquez is convinced that safety is not only a basic human right but a profitable business investment. Since 2012, he has been working at The American Road and Transportation Builders Association in Washington DC providing training and managing the roadway construction safety training program in coordination with The Work Zone Safety Clearinghouse, The Federal Highway Administration, The OSHA Harwood grant program and other organizations providing training in both English and Spanish to more than 10,000 workers and professionals in different topics related to roadway construction safety and traffic management. Mr. Vasquez is certified as an OSHA 10 and 30 Hour instructor, Flagger instructor, Spotter instructor, First Aid and CPR instructor.
