2020 Event Canceled – 6/2/2020 Today we made the difficult decision to cancel the Pocatello Safety Fest scheduled for April 14-16, 2020 (previously postponed until October 2020). We have canceled due to travel and large gathering restrictions imposed upon our nation at this time. These measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution, hoping to helping slow the transmission of COVID-19, keeping our community safe and healthy. As you know from past Safety Fest events, the health and safety of our community is the top priority.
We have locked in our 2021 dates for April 6-8, 2021.
Thank you for understanding and your support. Please pass this message along to others in your organization who it effects. If you have not already done so, click HERE to opt-in to our email list and stay up-to-date on this event.

The Slip Simulator provides a safe environment where people can experience walking postures that may result in a slip/fall, and learn the safe method for navigating treacherous conditions. This is an interactive, fun, educational and interesting dynamic learning tool. It will be located outside the event and ran by Denise Serr and Industrial Hygiene and Industrial Safety Engineer with over 20 years of experience at the Idaho National Laboratory.
The always popular Trade Show and Vendor Bingo will be Tuesday and Wednesday with a prize drawing Wednesday at noon. This is a great opportunity to see new safety products and services and talk with the company representatives directly- plus win some cool prizes!

Walk-ins and No Shows
If you did not get into all the classes you wanted, please come to the registration desk at class time and students will be added on a first-come, first-served basis as space permits. Please do not be late for your class or your spot will be filled, and please DON’T be a “No Show”. It is highly frowned upon when students are a no show for class. That is a seat that could have been filled by another willing student. Please respect that all our instructors volunteer their time and material to teach at Safety Fest.
At the registration desk we post the list of classes for the day that still have openings. We encourage walk-ins for those courses, so please just stop by and see us.
As always, we could not do this event without all of the support and contributions from our Founding Partners, Community Partners, Sponsors, Vendors, Instructors and all our volunteers. Be sure to recognize these community advocates of safety for all of the great support they have provided over the years.
